An Indictment of McDonald’s – Corporate Malpractice, Public Harm, and Environmental Negligence

To the leadership of McDonald’s Corporation:

Your business model is a public health crisis masquerading as a convenience. Your "food" is an ultra-processed chemical cocktail—not "toxins," but emulsifiers, preservatives, and added sugars scientifically engineered to override human satiety, driving addiction in children and adults alike. The result: skyrocketing rates of obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disease, disproportionately in low-income communities you claim to serve.

Your packaging is an ecological crime. Billions of "single-use" plastic-lined cups and straws do not degrade—they fragment into microplastics that enter human bloodstreams, placentas, and marine food chains. Your recycling promises are greenwashing; the vast majority of your waste ends in landfills or incinerators. You profit from disposability while externalizing the cleanup cost to taxpayers and future generations.

And your leadership? You hide behind shareholder returns while your franchisees exploit labor, your suppliers degrade rainforests for beef, and your legal team fights every regulation that might cut into your margins. You are not "too big to fail"—you are too big to be trusted.

The strongest action is not personal ridicule. It is regulatory action, consumer boycott, and class-action litigation for deceptive marketing. You are not feeding the world. You are poisoning it—and billing us for the privilege.

Demand: Full ingredient transparency, a binding global plastic-phaseout timeline, and a publicly audited fund for the health and environmental damage.  CEO needs psychiatric meds worse than the dried out Drunk ceo of BIONANO GENOMICS, Erik Homnlin.
